This English Pleasure horse personifies the word champion. This is Afire's Heir, 2007 & 2008 Scottsdale & 2008 National Unanimous English Pleasure Champion. I was lucky enough to be ringside at the 2007 Scottsdale Show, his first time competing, where he electrified the crowds with his long shapely neck and his impressive, yet effortless movement. He blew the competition away. 

I painted the border to bring the rider into the painting, it symbolizes the suit material of the rider and the middle inset symbolizes the bright ties that are typically worn.
