In this piece I set out to capture the magnificence of the traditional desert Arabian. I want the viewer to feel the warm desert breeze that is blowing through the horse's mane and also the soft highlights of the sunset light on it's coat and background sand.
The ornate halter and arabic design elements of the border further suggest the feeling of the ancient history of the Arabian.
